Joint Commission on Accreditation
Of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)

Matria’s Women’s & Children’s Health patient service centers are accredited by the JCAHO, which evaluates the quality and safety of care for more than 15,000 healthcare organizations. To earn accreditation, organizations must receive an on-site review every three years by a team of healthcare professionals with at least five years of experience.

National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)

Matria Healthcare earned NCQA’s Full Patient and Practitioner Accreditations for its disease management and obstetrical programs. Matria earned a score of 100 percent on all six of the organization’s accreditation categories.

NCQA accredits managed care organizations through the rigorous evaluation and measurement of relevant standards in quality care practices involving access and service, provider care, maintenance of chronic conditions, prevention of illness and healthcare interventions.

Many large employers will not do business with a healthcare company without NCQA’s stamp of approval.

American Accreditation Healthcare Commission (URAC)

Matria’s cancer, utilization management and lifestyle management programs have been accredited by URAC, the primary standards and quality review body for the healthcare industry.

URAC promotes healthcare quality through accreditation, certification and other quality improvement measurements.
