Ronald A. Lyon

Vice President, Commercialized Informatics

Mr. Lyon has served as Vice President, Commercialized Informatics since 2006. Prior to joining Matria, he functioned as National Pharmacy Practice Leader for Towers Perrin, a leading management consulting firm, where he established relationships with the leadership of numerous Fortune 1000, health plan and pharmaceutical companies. From 1987 through 1991 Mr. Lyon was Pharmacy Director for Cigna Healthplan of Florida, followed by nine years with Pharmaceutical Care Network, where he developed their MedIntelligence product suite. Thereafter, Mr. Lyon was Vice President, Pharmacy for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Richmond, VA, where he developed programs to measurably enhance physician prescribing patterns and drug cost trends.

Mr. Lyon’s has over twenty year’s expertise in pharmacy benefits management, managed care, hospital pharmacy, disease management, consulting and business development. He earned his bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Florida in 1980 and his master’s degree in pharmacy practice from the University of North Carolina in 1982.
