Martin L. Olson, Pharm. D.
Executive Vice President, Business and Clinical Development
Dr. Olson serves as Executive Vice President, Business and Clinical Development. He has been with the company for 25 years in clinical, program and corporate development roles. Dr. Olson previously served as Senior Vice President, Research, Development and Informatics prior to his current role. He also served as Corporate Vice President of Informatics from 2004 until 2006, Corporate Vice President of Program Development from 1999 until 2003, and President of Clinical Management Systems from June 1997 until January 2000. In addition, he has held the position of Vice President of Corporate Development from the formation of the company through the merger of Healthdyne Maternity Management and Tokos Medical Corporation in March 1996 until June 1999.
From 1992, Dr. Olson served as Vice President of Clinical Development for Healthdyne, Inc., supporting all subsidiaries. Dr. Olson joined Healthdyne in 1983 and served as Director of Clinical Development until 1987, at which time he became an officer of Healthdyne Maternity Management. From 1987 to 1992, Dr. Olson served the Healthdyne Maternity Management division in the capacity of Vice President of Clinical Development. Prior to joining Healthdyne, Dr. Olson was President of Metabolic Support Associates, an infusion therapy company, until it was acquired by Healthdyne in 1983. He was also associated with Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where he first served as Associate Director of Metabolic Support Service and also as Director of Parenteral Services.
Dr. Olson earned his bachelor's degree and a Pharm. D. from Creighton University in Nebraska and served his post-doctoral residencies in parenteral nutrition at Grady Memorial Hospital and Mercer University in Atlanta.
