Kenneth P. Yale, DDS
Vice President, Government Programs
Dr. Yale has served as Vice President, Government Programs since December 2005 through the acquisition of CorSolutions. Previously Dr. Yale was Senior Fellow at the Center for Health Information and Decision Systems (CHIDS) at the University of Maryland School of Business, which provides advanced research and development related to the introduction of information technology into the healthcare system, including work on Regional Health Information Organizations and Personal/Electronic Health Records. He also led government programs at EduNeering, a web-based training company, and was President and CEO of Advanced Health Solutions, a Medicare and Medicaid consulting firm, and Vice President of The Jefferson Group, a government contracts consulting company.
Before building health technology businesses, Dr. Yale held leadership positions in the federal government. He was Chief of Staff of the White House Office of Science and Technology, and served as Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council (DPC). Prior to his White House duties, Dr. Yale served as Legislative Counsel in the U.S. Senate, a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service, and instructor at Georgetown University.
Dr. Yale currently provides leadership and active participation in the following organizations: Maryland State Task Force on Electronic Health Records, URAC Health Website Accreditation Committee, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Government Relations Steering Committee, HIMSS Security and Privacy Committee, University of Maryland Center for Health Information and Decision Systems, Atlantis Group Strategic Planning Board and the Bureau of National Affairs Medicare Advisory Board. He is a frequent writer and speaker on technology and regulatory topics, and author of a book and articles on health and technology.
Dr. Yale earned a bachelor of arts degree from Creighton University, a dental doctorate from the University of Maryland, a law degree from Georgetown University and a finance planning degree at the University of Missouri.
